Transatlantic Mobility Program

 

  • Eligible institutions submit a proposal focused on student mobility to the Embassy of France before May 29, 2020 23:59 (EST).
  • Institutions submitting a proposal must be able to match the grant (at minimum) 1:1, levering funds from institutional, private-sector and/or community sources, excluding overhead costs.
  • To qualify for these funds, applicants will be asked to enact policy or programmatic changes on campus that leverage greater participation in study abroad, going above and beyond those students who receive financial assistance from the travel grant.
  • Proposals are submitted to the jury composed of Embassy of France, APLU and NAFSA members. Six to eight proposals will be selected to receive grants up to $15.000 for their completion.
  • Decisions of the jury will be announced to the candidate institutions early July, 2020.
  • Funds will be distributed to the selected institutions by August 2020.
  • Institutions receiving funds will be asked to fill a short online progress report by December 15th 2020.
  • Institutions receiving funds will be asked to submit a final report by August 31th 2021.
