Candidates must be undergraduate students in good standing at an accredited higher-education institution in the U.S.;
Candidates must be recipients of the Federal Pell Grant during the application period or while abroad;
Candidates must be in the process of applying to or accepted for a study abroad or internship program for academic credits;
The program must be at least two weeks long (for applicants from two-year institutions) or three weeks long (for applications from four-year institutions);
The program must be in a U.S. Department of State Travel Advisory Level 1 or 2 country.
