The French Job Fair of Phoenix

Saturday 24, 2022

On Saturday, September 24, the French Job Fair opened at Arizona State University in Phoenix. It was the first time that the key players in the French-speaking world gathered in Arizona in one place: 16 speakers and more than one hundred attendees discussed the employment opportunities provided by learning professional French.

Organized by the Consulate General of France in partnership with Arizona State University, University of Arizona and the Alliance Française of Phoenix, this morning was mainly structured around the issue of professional French: conferences, round tables, discovery stands, and workshops followed one another to inform the public about the opportunities offered by the French language in the United States and in the world today, and to exchange with the participants in a more informal way afterwards.

This successful event was a vivid proof that French is an important issue in finding a place in the job market. The statistics speak for themselves, since our language is the only one spoken on all continents, along with English, and it counts more than 320 million speakers, a figure that continues to grow with the explosion in the number of French speakers on the African continent. Learning French is more than ever an opportunity that must be seized to seduce recruiters!

Do not hesitate to check the AATF website to find the names of the speakers and the documents they shared during their speech.
