The pandemic has largely deprived French learners of international mobility. As part of the International Francophonie Day on March 20, 2021, this online event offers new opportunities to connect French-speaking American students looking for offers (internship or employment) with French or foreign companies sharing business relationships with France.

2021 Virtual Job Fair Full Program
Organized by the Cultural Services of the Embassy of France in the United States, in partnership with Louisiana State University, The Institut français, The Association of American Teachers of French (AATF) and the French-American Chamber of Commerce in NYC, SF and Michigan.
THE CONCEPT
Did you know that French skills are in high demand on today’s job market ?
- French is the third most-in demand foreign language among U.S employers (ACTFL report)
- The demand for French skills in the US more than doubled between 2010 to 2015 (NAE Report)
The Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the US have partnered with American universities, Francophone embassies and 30+ higher education institutions to hold French Language Job Fairs (Forum de l'Emploi Francophone).
These fairs are excellent opportunities to spotlight French as a professional asset by connecting students from any horizons, teachers and business representatives.
PREVIOUS JOB FAIRS
Two Forum de l'Emploi Francophone were organized in New Orleans and San Diego in 2019, and one in Phoenix in 2022:
- November 14, 2019 | Tulane University, New Orleans
- November 19, 2019 | San Diego State University
- September 24, 2022 | Arizona State University, Phoenix
Together, they gathered over 700 participants for 80 job and internship offers !
