Find a Partner!

The American Association of State Colleges and Universities, the French Embassy in the U.S. and the Embassy of the United States of America in France have joined forces to support transatlantic mobility and increase university collaboration. To that end, we created a tool to facilitate finding a partner for student mobility and other types of exchanges in France and in the U.S.

Here is how it works:

Complete the Online Form

https://form.jotform.com/211954320924049

This survey helps us understand who you are as an institution/department and what your needs and goals are in terms of internationalization. Think of it as a snapshot or institutional profile that will be used by our team and other institutions to get to know you and find the most suitable match.

How would you describe your institution? What are your main strengths in terms of internationalization and what are you looking for in a French/U.S. partner? We would also love to hear about your student mobility and exchange projects!

Find a Match (Beta version)

Once you’ve completed our online form, your data will automatically be integrated into our data visualization platform*.

Use our online platform to scan through the institutional profiles and look for a match. All profiles are recent and up to date. Filters and the search bar will help you find compatibilities with other institutions. The more precise you are the better.

*This tool is a Beta version of a more advanced online platform to come. We are working with our partners to create a dedicated website for you to filter and search through even larger numbers of profiles. By answering this survey, you will be first to get access to the upcoming online platform.

Build a Strong and Sustainable Partnership

AASCU, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, and the U.S. Embassy in France will continue to support you in building your partnership and achieving your transatlantic mobility projects.

  • We encourage you to apply to the Transatlantic Mobility Program with your new partner! If selected, you will receive a $15,000 grant to develop an innovative study-abroad program.

  • On November 18, 2021, we will organize a virtual networking event to encourage dialogue and help you engage with institutions in France/the U.S. You will have the possibility to initiate one on one discussions and navigate to thematic rooms.

We're confident you will find your ideal partner and hope that these new partnerships will enhance Franco-American collaboration in global education!
